I definitely am a forum addict. I have a few favourites that I post regularly to almost every day. Quite a few I have not much interest in that I originally signed up to. It was difficult at the beginning to choose because of access to those I preferred but after a time things sorted themselves out. I also post to forums that will not allow me access as a postlooper. So yes I am.
There was a time when forums really peaked my interest. I enjoyed the community aspect, the in person meets and the enjoyment I got of being a part of something that was 'new'. Over time that passion has diminished as my role in sites took on a more corporate position. 2005 I was an addict, enthusiast truly enjoying the forums I was a part of. Today, it's all business and I do what I can because I must and not because I am enjoying in the same way as I did in 2005. The site where I have the largest post count of around 7,000 posts is a ghost town now. The site has died off as peoples interests have changed. Every other site I am a part of in a management capacity I am around 1000 posts. I liked forums because of the social aspect and the information that was quickly exchanged between people. I now like forums in general because they can be a good business. The few forums I do like now is because they cater to a topic of interest to me, but those sites are far and few.
I definitely am a Forum Addict. My forum is 8 years old and I have been lucky enough to make many friends and meet them. I have joined many other forums and friendly with the admins and if there is trouble lurking we warn each other to be wary of certain people. I would pop into about 10 forums and do probably on average a couple of quality posts each day.
I am an internet addict in general I used to spend more time on forums 5 or 6 years ago, now a lot less so I guess I am not an addict anymore.
I am a forum addict when I have the time. As long as some positive talk is going on anyways. It's fun to learn new things and talk to people from all over. Forums are soo convenient.
I check some forums everyday and others several times per hour! I'm usually just lurking around these forums but that doesn't make me less of a forum addict, right?!
I think there is a side of me that love forums very much. I'm happy to bump on this site and to think that you could be actually be paid while posting on forums. That is just good for me since I love forums.
I can say, I am. Forum posting is what I do every second of the day as long as I have time to do it. I love reading all the discussions that are present, and I learn about the new things and gadgets that surrounds the internet. I don't usually read news but read new posts on any forum.
Okay, confession: I've been addicted to forums since my first experience on an IPB forum in 2005. After using the Invision Powerboard software, I had a hard time understanding the next few forums I signed up to. I was like, "Hey, why can't I do this (or that) on this forum!?" - lol. Learning curve
I think I'm getting to that stage! I find myself visible to almost every forum online. It's fun and I love conversing to people around the world.
