Not one to normally complain but: The rating was originally a four, but has now been reduced to a one. On this particular forum, my period of inactivity was approximately a whole day. Is there anything I can do to increase this rating? An owner should rate you on your quality, not the amount of time you are there ( atleast not to a detrimental level ) Can still remember a topic where a person got a bad rating because he didn't continue posting when over the daily limit... What a laugh did I have reading that.
So, is there a way to check if that rating has rated me again? I got a 4.0 again not shortly afterwards, and when asked what I could improve I just got a "Yes." I don't usually get irritated about ratings or low ratings, but this is becoming a thorn in my side and has been bugging me. Especially since I was initially given a 4 because I "left." I have since unsubscribed and do not intend to go back. If it is a different rater, then disregard, not as upset about it then, probably my actual deserved rating. This guy just grinds my gears. I feel I offered a lot to forum as it's niche is my actual occupation.
I know. I was annoyed because the reason it was a 4 was because I 'left.' Not anything else. Not a big deal. Just an annoyance really.
When I attempted to deal with this I believe I was seen as not being a "team player". My argument that I was not being paid to post after I had reached my limit somehow didn't seem to make sense to the people I was discussing this with.
They being morons is not your problem, they try to justify it by making it your problem. Don't accept that.
