Chat or text? I say both. Because they have the same purpose which is to help us communicate. Communication is one key on having a good relationship to others specially if they are away from us. So either chat or text, as long as you maintain good communication to others.
Most of the people in our country prefer in chat, specially in facebook messenger, because we had a free access in that application.
When I check my phone, I’m more of a chat person than a text person. I think it’s what everyone does nowadays. Sometimes I even forgot to check a text message but I certainly cannot forget to check my chat notification.
Chat messages are very convinient but sometimes it cause misinterpretation since it has no tone when you read it.
It depends in the scenario. If I am not online, I go and text, if I am online, I go and chat but you must consider the person you are communicating with, if the person is not online, go and text that person if he/she is, go and chat.
Although chat and text both helpful when comes in communication, but for me chat is more convenient rather than text. You cannot send messages through text without load, while you send messages through chat even without load, bcause nowadays, free data is very famous because from the word itself, its free.
TEXT: * If it is urgent * When I am inquiring something (because they tend to receive messages more than when inquiring on a page or social media) * When I ran out of data CHAT: * This is my go to, everyday. When I am contacting my family members & my partner, as long as it is not urgent, I always chat because you will be notified when they have received your message/s. Plus I can send pictures, videos, or voice chats. -veryel28
I like to used both this type of communication, i used chat to communicate long distances specially abroad. then prefer to used text for those near by me.
Chat for me. Texting is expensive here in the Philippines, for me. I always communicate with my friends and family thru chat since it is very cheap and because we have Wi-fi at home. When I'm out of the house, I can still chat with just only 1Peso load
I prefer chatting with a stable wifi connection than texting because chat messages instantly send and will be received instantly and you would be able to know also if the one you are chatting was notified or not. Chatting here on my country also cost less than texting. It is also nearly impossible to send pictures or files through text here in our country. Chatting is also way more convenient because you could see the one who you are connected.
For me it a chat, Because in a chat platform there many more sticker to chose more emoticon that can express what you want.
Chat and text are both important. You can use chat all the time for most of the people today prefer chat as the number one means of communication. But of course there are times that the person you wish to message is not online. It is important to text him instead of chat so he can read the message right away. Text is more important in case of emergencies.
They both do the same thing but i will go with Chat simply because i will know when they receive and read the message where else on Text people can just lie and say they did not receive it.
When it comes in chat for now the network I use have a free data, So I don't need to load my sim card for texting because for me it is more cheaper if I go for the free data. While on the other hand in text I load only my sim card if I have an emergency situation or the message in chat box are didn't seen or the person I contact in chat is offline. But both of this chat or text are useful for us, And maybe it's depends on the situation you are with.
I prefer chat than text because it's more budget-free than texting someone. The advantages of chatting is that you will see if the receiver of your message or chat have seen your message already.Chatting also does not need a load for you to send a message to someone else.Texting on the other hand has limitations to be notified,a load for a specific amount does will just gather you for a given day or week to be expired out.It also has limitations in consuming your load, you can not overuse your load because it will have a feedback to your charges the next time you will gonna load.
I personally like to keep things a little professional, so I go with texts. For casual use, chatting should be fine.
I prefer chatting. No need to have load on your phone.Free data only for chatting. And you can also send pictures.
Chat is like more informal but easier way of communication since everyone is connected in the internet. I use text for a more formal like reminders, greetings, info dissemination. Funny because the purpose is really opposite 5 years ago
Most people are always connected to WiFi nowadays so I'd choose chat. I don't think people would still want to spend money on prepaid load when WiFi is pretty rampant now. Chatting is more fun anyway since you could send photos, videos, GIFs etc without thinking about your load balance.
Chat because you need load to text someone but chat is free, you just connect on Wifi then you can chat someone.
It has the same purpose, but for conveniency, I’ll choose chat. Since you can use messenger to chat others for free. So why do you need to pay for a load if you can still talk to them through messenger?
In terms of free stuff people mostly prefer chat including myself like facebook messenger app as they allow us to use their services and communicate to other people via free mode even though our smartphones don't have mobile data so that way I can save up more money compared to texting.
Chat, because people nowadays using social medias to connect and update people in their life. We can use social media platform like messenger to chat people even if you don't have load.
Instant messaging is a one-to-one conversation—almost always with someone you already know—during which your computer or mobile device is connected to another person for the purpose of exchanging text and images. An instant message is usually between only two individuals, not a conversation involving groups of people. So prefer chat
I just text, because I don't want to waste my time in chatting with someone. But maybe I can make an exemptions. It depends on the person whom I will be chatting with.
For me it's more convenient chatting than texting because in chatting there are so many ways to send message and it's more fun and easy. Texting for me is way too boring and people nowadays really prefer chatting more than texting because one can message their love ones no matter where they are in the world and that doesn't require extra charges.
it depends on how can you communicate or message the person you need to talk to. Some people still dont have messenger now, so text is much easy way to reach them.
i am more chat these time but text also is okay since i used it also .So i gues its both is good for me it is same useful and same purpose.
