The option of having to work from home comes with a lot of flexibility. Chief among the causes for such is the homely environment which can tend to increase one's chances of having limited focus on their job. What are your thoughts pertaining this subject?

It just depends on the person on whether or not he/she can focus with all the distraction. Lazy? I think not. The word is there, you're still working. That already justifies that you are not lazy. You just prefer to work comfortably and conveniently.

I would say it likely justifies the exact opposite. When you have no real deadlines or hard meetings it is very easy to go completely off the rails into getting zero done ever. The apparent lack of accountability makes diligence even more important.

A friend once said when you don't have to get up and put on pants it's 10x more important that you get up and put on pants.

Working from home takes a lot of dedication. It’s definitely not being lazy especially if you can’t physically go to a job. Some people have no transportation or they have health issues. Working from home can be very beneficial if you can’t get to a physical place or even if you’re just looking for some side money to help you out.

I don't think it even has anything to do with laziness. People who work from home are quite hardworking guys. There is so much work that comes with setting up a successful freelance business. When it is finally done, it is only sensible that the freelancer works whenever necessary. If he/she can afford to use their time doing something else apart from the job, then be sure that the person is financially comfortable. Also remember that not all people choose to work from home. To some, a health issue may be keeping them from sustaining a regular job. Such people will often maintain the same work ethic as if they were actually employed in some office.

I'd say people who CAN work at home are lucky. They don't have to commute and dress nicely just to go and work. That itself makes me lazier in coming to work. It all depends on the person and how much they can manage to do in a single day of working. If you can do as much work as someone like me who goes to work in an office then I'd say good for you. If you can maximize getting more work done at home than in the office then even better for you. There are so many opportunities right now in terms of work, from freelancing to office jobs. It all depends on the person and not the environment.

Working from home does not mean an individual is lazy. Lucky are those who work in their territory. They can manage their own time, they do not need to worry traffic and tardiness, they are with their family, and most, they witness the developmental milestones of their kids. Unlike commuting everyday, they are already stressed on their trip to and from their workplace, and worst, working on other country to feed their family but missing special events that they need to be together.

You don't need to worry about the traffic. You can take care of your family especially if you have a baby/kids that need your attention. Not being lazy working at Home, because you also dedicate your time and effort. This TIME and EFFORT is your investment doing a certain task, doing online jobs. Moreover for those who do designs, software, app creators and the like. Also those who do voice coaching, voice rendering, manipulation and like jobs. The only difference of being a worker or an employee is that their time is managed but not that well and they are triggered and controlled by BOSSES. Here at Online Home Based Job. You are your OWN BOSS.

In my case, working at home does not justify being lazy. I just love spending most of my time at home and working at home doesn't mean that you don't have a lot of work. The time and effort you dedicate working at home is as much as the smae as working in an outside office.

Working at home doesn't mean being lazy because it doesn't matter where you work as long as you can do the task assigned to you. Yes, there would be times when you will not be able to focus on your job at times because of distractions that are not existing when you are in an office, but still if you know your priorities then you would focus on your task at hand. Working at home doesn't mean being lax too because your performance would reflect on the result.

    case to case scenario

online jobs are created to give opportunities, meaning to say even though jobs are done online, a person engaged on this kind of environment will still need to work hard, persevere and endure to gain something from it. online jobs are not for lazy people, personally i do have online jobs but there are times that this field of work is much harder than having a normal job, so? can we still say it promotes laziness? definitely not!! its just that, in this present generation, online jobs became popular and became a good source of income

Nope, maybe someone has so many things to do in their daily lives other than a job, so finding a real-life job schedule that suits their needs can be practically impossible. So they find an online job so as to earn some money while they fulfill the rest of their duties less stressfully :)

Definitely not. The main reason people prefer to work from home because it's more convenient. You don't need to travel to get to the main office to do your job. Saves time and money. And most importantly, we can spend more time with our family.

For me, if you're lazy, any kind of work, weather it's in the office or working from home, will be very difficult for you. Working from home doesn't mean more sleep or no stress. Working from home means being able to manage your work time and having the initiative to finish your task without a physical boss telling you what to do. And I think, that is the opposite of being lazy.

No, because from the world itself working, you are working in your home not lying in the bed then browsing the internet. We need to be practical nowadays not becuase you are working home it means that you are lazy, just try to observe the sorroundings of that person who is working home. Because here in philippinea one of the reasons why Filipinos wanted to work in their home is because of traffic. The traffic here where so bad and I think it will take years to fix this.

How could it be lazy, if you are working? Lazy means you’re not moving, you just want to lay in your bed all day. You preferred to work from home because it depends on our reasons. We want to avoid the traffic along our way, we have no boss, time is flexible and have freedom. Also, you feel more convenient working from home than an eight hours job with a boss.

Working at home is not laziness. But being wise and practical. Now a days, going to work is hassle and time consuming because of heavy traffic and air pollution and before you can get to work you are so haggard. And also, not of us had a good salary that can sustain all your expenses like transportation. So,thats the reason why some people preffered to work at home because there's a lot of advantage on it.First, you don't need to travel many hours going to work and it's saves a lot time and money and you can do things before you start to work at home.Second,it lessen the stress you take compare working outside. It's because you superiors when you work in the office and often they are the who give pressures to you,not like in the home your the boss. But there is also a downside on this, there will be no socialization with other people because your the only one there. And there is a tendecy for you to be distracted, unless you determined to yourself to be focus on your work.In addition, other disadvantage is there is no regularization and no permanent job on this job.

I object to that notion. Working at home doesn't mean laziness. Why? Because there are many reasons for that and one thing is you can't leave home due to circumstances like being a mom who also takes care of her kids. And also, browsing online is not all the time an easy task. All jobs require commitment and perseverance.

I want to work from home. What kinds of advise do you have for me? Are you currently working from home? Is there a job that I can earn a minimum of $500 USD a week from home, if so, I am definitely interested. I want to make all this money that I see others making. If it is so easy to work from home then why can't I manage to make over $50 a day? Please explain to me what am I doing incorrectly. To answer the question as straight forward as possible; does working from home justify being lazy, the answer is no. It doesn't justify being lazy and the question is actually an oxymoron and the question is not well crafted. The title states does working justify being lazy. Well, if you are working the word in itself is an adjective that describes an action being done. I do not know how lazy you can be if you are working. Lazy is a descriptive word that means idle or lack of activity, so, I am stumped on this question and that's why I decided to tackle this question at the end of my writing, rather than to come right out trying to answer the question.

I believe that working from home is not easy and requires a lot of discipline and organization, but it should not be a reason to be lazy. It also depends a lot on the area in which you want to work.
When we move into a physical space to work, we know what we have to do while we are there. Of course there may be distractions, but being in the workplace, we are always aware of our duty.
Working from home should be challenging because on the one hand we have more flexibility and scope to create, but on the other hand we also have more to distract ourselves ... From more freedom to housework, family or children who consume much of the our time. The freedom and comfort of being at home can be a concentration challenge to working effectively.
I am thinking of working from home as a complement and would like to know your opinions. What advice do you have to give to someone who is starting to work from home?

No. Working in home is just like working in office, and it both performing jobs and making effort for your salary. People tend to work in the place they want to work because maybe it helps them become more productive and creative. Some people want to work in home because of some reasons like, they are single parent and have a kid. Working in home doesn't define the persons hardworking level. As long as you work for the sake of your loveones and it is legal, there is nothing wrong with that.

It's definitely a Big NO. Working from home is not easy it's like making your own office at your own home. The task is not easy cause you are doing the job by your own. You send a lot of application in freelancing job then wait for them to hired you. Sometimes it's a bit of stressing because beside doing your job at home you will perform other household task especially if you are a parents. It's not that the you are lazy but it makes you more aggressive to do the work because unlike working in a company you get paid daily even if you didn't finish yet your work but working at home is not like that. If you don't do the work you do not earn at the given time.
