Can you share a movie that is very interesting to watch? It's okay if it is an old one. :D

Depends on what kind of movie you are inclined to. I like history, war and drama. I prefer the old ones since they are more substantial. Movies like Schindler's List, Amistad, Good Will Hunting, Cinderella Man and Saving Private Ryan are good ones.

Movies that mess with your mind, plots that reveal radically different realities; things are seldom what they seem in these stories, for the protagonist or the viewer.

    Shutter Island
    Fight Club
    The Prestige
    Donnie Darko
    The Sixth Sense
    The Game
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
    The Machinist
    The Butterfly Effect
    The Usual Suspect
    Mr Nobody
    Jacob's Ladder
    Source Code
    The Illusionist
    The Fountain

Not knowing your personal preferences, I'll just throw out a few movies that either blew me away with a twist, kept me on the edge of my seat, or had me in stitches!

What We Do In The Shadows - this one is very interesting and very funny. It's a mockumentary, following three vampires as they go about their day-to-day (or rather night-to-night) lives. It was directed by the man who directed Thor: Ragnarok, so if you're a Marvel fan and enjoyed the brand of comedy in that film, then I'm sure you'll enjoy this one!

Bad Times at The El Royale - this is a newer film, and one that really had me invested for the sheer confusion and thrill. There isn't much to say that won't spoil the film, but I've been recommending it to everyone lately because the atmosphere, cast, cinematography, and plot all worked so well together. On paper, this film shouldn't have worked, but it did, and I think that's part of what makes it so interesting.

Pixar's Coco - okay, I know this might sound a bit silly, but the twist in this children's movie sincerely blew me away! Besides the crazy twist, it is just a beautifully made film and is very moving. If you're looking for something colorful with a handful of catchy songs and a lovely message about family, this is a great one!

The Mist - based on the classic Stephen King novella, this film had a much darker ending than King's original version. This movie has sort of a post-apocalyptic feel to it, and, of course, elements of horror.

Here are my top 3 movies:

    1. Fight Club - this is a good movie because it teaches men how to behave like a real men and it also teaches us the downfall of being a consumerism.

    2. American Pie 1,2,3, and reunion - this is a comedy film about teenagers. This is relevant for teenagers and it is really funny and hilarious.

    3. Se7en - this movie is about a criminal who uses 7 deadly sins as a message to people that we are not guilty of any sins. This is really a good movie and I watched it several times.

My all time favorite for anyone looking to binge watch is the TV series Billions. It is the classic modern depiction of a David vs Goliath story line. US attorney Chuck Rhoades is embroiled in a legal tussle with billionaire Bobby Axelrod who is also the boss to the attorney's wife. Crazy right! If wealth, influence, corruption and obsession is your thing, then this is the series you've been looking for.

I suggest you watch the movie In Time, it is worth the watch.

    In Time
is a 2011 American dystopian science fiction action thriller film written, directed, and produced by Andrew Niccol. Amanda Seyfreid and Justin Timberlake star as inhabitants in a society where people stop aging at 25. Cillian Murphy, Vincent Kartheiser, Olivia Wilde, Matt Bomer, Johnny Galecki, Collins Pennie, and Alex Pettyfer also star. The film was released on October 28, 2011.

The Room: Considered one of the best worst movies ever made! Fascinating to watch and wonder how did this even got made! It got so popular that it even has a book and movie made about the making of this movie (The Disaster Artist)!

Samurai Cop: An American action move by an Iranian film maker! Really funny due to how awkward it is!

12 Angry Men (1957): You said old would be fine! A crime case is not as clear as these 12 angry men seem to think.

    The Cube:
A group of people find themselves in guessed it! A cube (a giant cube)!

Contact: About the first time we made contact with alien life. Based on a novel by Carl Sagan.

    The Matrix:
If you haven't seen this, then don't watch the trailer or read up on it. Just watch it. This movie revolutionized visual effects in movies.

If you are looking for interesting series:

Columbo: A detective series. Why interesting? Because who committed the crime is revealed at the beginning and it's super fascinating to see how Columbo (our detective) solves the case!

The Twilight Zone (1959): Ordinary people find themselves in extraordinarily astounding situations, which they each try to solve in a remarkable manner.

The X-files: Aliens, demons, monsters, supernatural, conspiracy, investigation..need I say more?

Are you okay with Asian Movies and anime? if yes here are the things I can recommend for you:
    • Along with the Gods, it is about Three grim reapers escorts a man to the afterlife and will decide his fate based on what he had done when he was alive. Now This is one of the Movies that I highly recommend because of the plot twist and the characters and their acting skills. If you like Drama and action then you should watch it
    • Miracle in Cell No. 7, Inmates at a Korean prison join forces to protect a comrade and his young daughter, who cannot bear to be separated for even a moment. The main guy here--father--is mentally challenged but has to work for the future of her child, however he was sent to prison. This is one of the film that will make you cry.
    • A Silent Voice; When a grade school student with impaired hearing is bullied mercilessly, she transfers to another school. Years later, one of her former tormentors sets out to make amends. This is one of the most beautiful films ever created thus I highly recommend you watch

I would prefer to recommend an old movies which i find it really great, and i will give you a brief summary each of them.

    1. Meet Joe Black - This movie is a little bit of drama, mystery, romance, and fantasy. Its about a multi
millionaire man who have a lot of achievements. But his death is near and he met a spirit which is so called "death" his another name is joe black. They're trying to negotiate the terms of his death but they never expect that death is eventually falling in love with the daughter of the multi millionaire man. And this is become really exciting because death covered himself by the form of human and that human was met by one of the daughter of the multi millionaire man. You will learn a lot of things here, about love, power, conflict of interest and business. I find this movie really inspiring because the way death communicate to people is really straight forward, he is witty, intelligent and good looking person yet he is very weird. Check the trailer on youtube to know the casting. The actors and actress are really professional.

    2. Pursuit of Happiness - This movie is really inspiring for all the people who are trying to figure out about their career. It is about a man who trying to become a successful person. He struggles a lot. He been through a lot of pain. But he never gives up. He always trying to figure out what are the cause of his mistakes. My favorite part of the movie is when he got a call from the company that he applied for work, and he rushes to his interview without making any preparations but he did it well and he get hired by that company. Just watch the trailer first, you will get excited if you know who is the important character of that movie.

Let me suggest an anime movie to you it is called Perfect Blue. Not to be different to the other commenters but this anime movie is really different. The visuals and scenes would really remind you on the life that we had on the 90s. The plot and twists would question the reality of the protagonists or maybe it is just you that does not understand what "reality" really means. If you loved Inception, I think you will also fall in love with this movie.

The Dark Knight, I love the way the story goes. You can also reminisce having Heath Ledger still with us. For me, he is the best joker of all the movies I have watched so far. I don't think the new movie Joker would surpass that feeling he created when he portrayed joker.

If you're looking for a whole lot of movie that's not just gothic romance but is a thrilling, horror-like and a seductive one, I would suggest you watch the Crimson Peak.
It's one of a kind movie. It's not actually a ghost movie at all, but ghosts serve as a metaphor of the past and also you can really feel what is the deep meaning of true love once you finally found it. poster_crimsonpeak.jpg
