Sleep Paralysis

    I think I've experienced sleep paralysis a few times be every time it happens I go back to sleep and forget about it. Apparently it's caused by your brain "waking up" while your body is still asleep which is why people say it causes vivid and sometimes terrifying hallucinations. I've heard stories of people seeing "shadow people" in their peripheral vision while unable to move so I guess I'm pretty glad I can't remember any of the times it happened to me because it sounds pretty traumatizing lol.
